David Armstrong

As of March 2010, David is a young 51 years of age and a scuba diver. At this time his dive qualifications are advanced, deep diver specialist, nitrox and national geographic. He runs his own small indoor studio specializing in fashion and glamour photography, and is also very involved in animal conservation, both land-based and aquatic. It was a logical step to combine all three interests. “I have found that you can try to tell people about the dangers facing our oceans and the wonders to be seen but nothing can quite bring the message home as effectively as a photograph,” says David. His work is used widely on facebook as part of his commitment to aquatic conservation. While David claims the title of professional photographer on land, he is still very much an amateur photographer underwater, “but people enjoy my work and that’s the important thing!”
