In parts of coastal Florida, where warm weather is traditionally enjoyed year-round, cold snaps have severely affected marine life. Several manatees, sea turtles and fish, including crevalle jacks, snooks, pinfish and sheepsheads, have either been stunned by the cold or frozen to death.
