Concerns Rising with Sea Levels

Rising sea levels have serious implications for coastal communities, including Chittagong, Bangladesh. Low-lying, small island states are particularly hard hit, at risk of losing their land, their government and their national identity. Satellite observations suggest that average sea level is increasing by 3 millimeters a year.
